At Gokarna Stays, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our travelers and our local hosts who prepare their homes for your arrival.

How to Cancel a Booking

To cancel a booking, please log in to your account and go to “My Bookings” or contact our support team at [gokarnastays@gmail.com] with your Booking ID.

Standard Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise stated on the specific property listing page, the following rules apply:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel your booking at least 7 days before your scheduled check-in date.
  • Partial Refund (50%): If you cancel between 3 to 7 days before your scheduled check-in date.
  • Non-Refundable: If you cancel less than 72 hours before check-in, or in the case of a “No Show.”

Refund Process

  • Once a refund is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method (Credit Card, UPI, or Bank Account).
  • Refunds usually take 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.
  • Please note that a small processing fee charged by the payment gateway may be non-refundable.

Host Cancellations

In the rare event that a Host needs to cancel your booking, you will receive a 100% refund immediately. We will also do our best to help you find an alternative stay in Gokarna.
